I want to be forever young

Growing older is scary, isn't it?

You'll lose your teenage features, wrinkles will start to form, and soon you'll realize that your face will never be the same again.

Is that really what we're afraid of?

It's kind of ironic to think that at some point in our lives, we couldn't wait to grow up, to finally have our own room, our own cell phone, to stay up as much as we wanted, and our own rules without anyone ruining our life and my plans.

We dreamed of freedom, of making our own decisions and living on our own terms.

Only when I got this far. What will I do now?

I wish I could be that little girl again, who makes mistakes without consequences, is ready to try new things even if they scare her, and faces every challenge with a brave heart.

I long for the days when the world seemed like an open playground, where every stumble was a lesson rather than a regret, and where the joy of discovering something new was greater than the fear of messing up.

I don't know myself anymore. It's not just about losing my teenage features; I don't recognize who I am because she's so scared. This isn't her. I know it's not her.

I was full of life. What happened to us?

The scariest part is that you can never go back and you have to live with it. We have to live with it.

After all, we have no choice. We can't stop time. This isn't a dream where you can choose to wake up or keep dreaming. We have to accept that we can't bring back the past.

But there are so many things on the other side of the world that we haven't explored yet, right? The only problem is that we are afraid. Fear of the unknown often prevents us from discovering new places, ideas, and experiences.

Maybe not now. Perhaps
tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after that. Maybe soon there will come a time when I am no longer afraid.

And growing older won't be as scary as it used to be.

Because when we met as children, we both hugged each other and cried.
